Epistle of First John Chapter One.
The apostle John begins his first epistle with the most important aspect of God's Word... Jesus Christ is the means of life that makes life meaningful. It is very obvious that John was engaged in a personal relationship with Christ. The impression we glean from this chapter is that Jesus Christ is all that really matters... if He isn't... then nothing really matters.

One's fellowship with Jesus Christ is to be guarded with a stern jealousy (Romans 12:1,2). Not to do so would lead us down a path of staleness and a begrudging spirit toward mundane task assigned to us by God. The fact is, many of us are not joyful Christians because we are often jealous or envious for things verses being spiritually minded for God. This often results in a subtle rejection of God; to the point of closing Him out.
Sincerely, Dr. Arthur Belanger
