Students of all races and ethnic groups are admitted if they: (1) give testimony of having accepted

Jesus Christ as their personal Savior; (2) feel that  God has called  them to Christian Service;

(3) read, understand and respect our Statement of Faith.


Enrollment and Tuition Cost

  • Enrollment can take place anytime of the calendar year.  Enroll online or over the telephone with an adviser.
  • Tuition, while very affordable, will vary depending on the courses and degree program you engage.  Tuition can be paid at a discounted rate if paid in full.  Or choose a timely payment plan.       (Perspective, Purpose, Philosophy)

  • ​Our Perspective - Our distance study program was designed for those in the Christian communities who find the on-campus approach impractical.  Often it is not realistic to uproot the entire family, leave a current job, or resign a church to attend Bible college.  Our Bible Institute developed a high quality, self-motivating and self-disciplining curriculum for the off-campus approach that includes both online and correspondence by mail. . The courses consist of sound Bible teaching through study guides, textbooks, audio/video, and mentoring. OBI stands firm on this approach that has proven most effective in preparing men and women for effective ministry.
  • Our Purpose - OBI exists for one purpose. That purpose is to establish and maintain a Bible based institution offering exclusively theology and missiology education for the sole purpose of furthering the gospel of Jesus Christ in the world (Matthew 28:18,20).
  • ​Our Philosophy - The philosophy of OBI is rooted in the Bible, which is the only standard that under girds the curriculum of this institution. We believe that the knowledge of the Word of God must be the only authority and absolute in the educating process for Christian workers. We recognize the Holy Spirit as the ultimate Teacher and the Bible as the only authority. A love for the Word of God and a thorough knowledge of it are prerequisites for an effective ministry. OBI exist to nurture and develop these principles.​
