In the first, the student will gain a knowledge of counseling the chronically, psychiatrically, and terminally ill, as well as the ministry in times of sickness. In the second book, the student will loot at other types of crises including health-related, life cycles, financial, and spiritual crises. Also covered are techniques for crisis intervention.

    The student is required to research the biographies of great men, pastors or missionaries who have contributed to the work of the gospel ministry, such as D.L. Moody or Billy Sunday. The professor will assign the research books. This is a required course.
