Why Doesn't God Punish Crime In This World?
Why is it that crime and criminals are not getting their due justice? Is God turning a blind eye to criminals and their crimes?
God established rule of human government, and He has tasked the government with judging the deeds of criminals. "For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil." Romans 13:1,6. God is judging. The question is: how and when?

God and Judging The World In The Present
If God judged every sin in the moment or due course in this present and evil world, He would judge every man, woman and child every day. All men are sinners and break God’s laws continually. If we want God to judge evil deeds committed against us, then we must be willing for God to judge every crime and/or sin that we commit against others. It should be noted that God is long-suffering and not willing that any should perish in the moment or eternally.
God is Judging The World
One need not look far to realize that the world is perpetually under God's judgment. The world is under His curse because of sin. Thus, much of the turmoil that men experience is God’s judgment. Often heard or seen in the news; we learn of horrific storms, drought, disease, wild animals preying on unsuspecting victims, and many other things. Sane people know in their hearts and minds that their conniving secrets and intentions will reap some form of judgment if left unrepentant. "God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” (Galatians 6:7), People know full well that there is a law of retribution that works in this world.
God's Final Judgment of The World
God will hold every man accountable for everything He does in this life. "it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27).
“And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven #ed away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire is is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire” (Revelation 20:11-15).
God's Final Judgment of Believers - Christians will meet their final judgement at the Judgement Seat of Christ. It will be a place and time of revealing. As we live and work here in this life, it is relatively easy for us to hide things and pretend; but the true character of our works and motives will be exposed before the searching eyes of the Savior.
Jesus Christ makes Himself the test to determine our genuineness. The life of Christ is the only standard acceptable with God the Father. The only critical discipline of the Christian life that matters is yielding to the Holy Spirit to bring us to absolute conformity to the likeness of Jesus Christ. Why? There is nothing else that can endure the certain judgment of God.
Sincerely, Dr. Arthur Belanger
