When GOD Let's, You Get Your Way - BAD THINGS HAPPEN BEGINNING WITH YOUR CHOICES.

Disclaimer: This article applies only to Christians.

It happens; Christians will make and follow through with A decision outside of GOD'S will that leaves them vulnerable for self-preservation. It's the stench of worldliness (Romans 12:1,3; Prov. 14:12). That's why you don't get along with yourself and the Holy Spirit.  You are putrid, and you know it. And it's all because of one choice you made and keep repeating:  DISHONESTY.

When GOD allows your insistency of doing things your way; deep rooted disappointment and depression and dishonesty will be your norm, and you may never recover. What's worse, you may never truly repent. It is during these times that God will apply pressure with the intent of bringing about repentance and a renewed confidence and contentment with His perfect will.

The only advantage a Christian can employ under self-inflicted pressure and overcome is an unveiled openness before God. The opposite of this is a self-willed, miss-guided heart that ultimately results in a sense of futility in all that you do and become. You impoverish and weaken yourself all because you will not trust God with ALL your heart.  It is for this reason that God applies pressure in your life. Unless you experience the pressure of facing every deception about yourself, you will claw to the depths of your heart before you give the Holy Spirit your consideration.

Under Pressure By God?  What to do?

When a Believer leans to their own understanding... they are certain to suffer disillusionment.   When you really see yourself as the Lord sees you; it is not the terribly offensive sins of the flesh which shock you, but the awful nature of the pride of your own heart opposing Jesus Christ.  Yes, even Christians including you, opposes the Holy Spirit. Imagine that. Ephesians 4:30; 1st. Thessalonians 5:19.

Believe it.  When GOD says: the worst thing that will happen to you when you insist on opposing Me... is when I let you have your own way.  IT GETS REALLY BAD.  Don't Believe Me.  Read Luke 15:11,32. And see what you really smell like in your pride and stubbornness.  IT'S BAD - PUTRID BAD.

When you are faced with the question of whether or not to be honest with yourself and GOD; then make a decision to go through whatever pressure God has permitted. That decision begins with HONESTY. There is NO plan B, No ALTERNATIVE. JUST BE HONEST. You will take great pleasure in trusting GOD with all your heart.  Amen.

Sincerely, Dr. Arthur Belanger
