COLLEGE OF THE OPEN BIBLE
Epistle of First Peter Chapter One... Continued...
The Bible is not a catalog of multiple options. The Bible is God's provision for direction that is moved by eternal values. Yet, so many believers feel very uncertain. Many feel this way because they are nurtured by circumstances that leave them suspect of God's leading. The only direction God demands of us is to trust Him.

The Bible presents salvation as an obvious experience whereby, God by grace has justified all who trust in Christ (1 John 5:13).
Epistle of First Peter Chapter One vs. 9-25 Never underestimate the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. With God's forgiveness, it is so unnecessary for believers to languish through life fighting feelings of condemnation and guilt. Almost always, a foreboding sense of judgment weighs heavy on their shoulders.
The apostle Peter reflects on the joy of salvation.
I. The Emancipation Of Salvation - vs.9
II. The Examination Of Salvation - vs.10
III. The Expectation Of Salvation - vs.11
a. The Manner of His Death - 11d ...sufferings of Christ...

IV. The Exclamation Of Salvation - vs.12
Jesus Christ will never condemn those He purchased with His blood (period). It is this reality alone that Peter emphasizes as the sufficiency for holy ambition.
In fact, God says the blood bought believer has already passed from death unto life and will not come into condemnation (John 5:24). This is our only needed incentive for holy living and joyful hearts. Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable gift.
